Wellis Crystal Alkalinity Balancer (1 L)
What it does
Increases the carbonate hardness of your spa water. Stabilises pH so that adding pH Down or chlorine doesn't cause a sudden swing.
When to use
- When 5-in-1 test shows total alkalinity below 80 ppm.
- Always before adjusting pH — alkalinity affects pH, so balance alkalinity first.
- After fresh fill, before sanitising.
How to use
- Test alkalinity with Crystal Pool Check 5-in-1.
- Turn circulation ON.
- Pre-dissolve the dose in a bucket of warm water.
- Add slowly to the spa surface away from the skimmer.
- Run circulation for 1 hour, then retest.
- Once alkalinity is 80–150 ppm, balance pH next.
